My good friend and partner in blogdom, JT, posted recently that he has “been discovered” by the Russian Spambot Overlords. With 50 pageviews from Russia, where he knows no one (I assume), compared to 28 from the US, where the vast majority of his friends live.
I almost never check my own stats; I’m not Buzzfeed, nor do I play one on the Internet. I figure my 12 best friends and family will read my posts about Japanese Calligraphy, or check out what I’ve read recently. It appears, however, that at least 26 people in Brazil have read my blog. Where that comes from, I have no idea. Maybe it is JT’s spambot overlords.
Lol spambots overloads XD I wondered how many genuine views I get

Lol, it’s not the quantity that matters. It’s the quality of the spam bots 🙂
