Mind Occupiers

My mind is easily occupied. Porous borders just allowed twelve hours of TV on an international flight to invade and occupy the CPU cycles. I don’t feel guilty, just a little angry. I’ve allowed it. I’ve let the occupiers through the gates.

It might be time again for a screen boycott. I deleted a bunch of movies and tv shows from hard disc drives, good shows, too. I’m going to stop social media (not blogs) for some time till I feel balance reassert.

Until then, I’m reading books again. And writing, too.

    1. Anything that’s both passive and continuous is a time-sink–by design; the media companies aren’t stupid, and they’ve researched how to cultivate your continuing attention.
