In my home town, everywhere you can hear, the first calls of birds, the fragrance of flowers, carried on the mountain winds.
The imagery of this one hit me on the heartstrings. I don’t live in mountains, admittedly. But I do, or did, live in a pretty wooded area. Where I grew up, you couldn’t see the next door because of the foliage. (But you could hear them). In our backyard we have a bird feeder flowers, there’s a lot of wind. The imagery in the poem reminded me of that.
I get to read a beautiful poem as I try to draw it beautifully.

Ah! Lovely. The letters could almost be leaves on the winds. Have you tried the Merlin Bird ID?
I haven’t. Never been interested in bird types. Of course, you never know. I might learn to love it.
